The 1st Intensive course will take place from the 1st of April 2019 to the 5th of April 2019. The Intensive Program will run in collaboration with the FOSTER Network

Useful Information Before the Event 

  • Each partner University has received funds to support the participation of two academics and five students
  • The project support under fix rates the travel and the subsistence cost of the participants. For the event in AAU, the CRETE project supports the stay of (a) students for seven days (five + 2 for traveling); and for four days for the academic – teachers (two + 2 traveling days). Regarding the SMEs partners of the CRETE project funds for the travel and subsistence costs of one staff member per partner have been allocated. The rates are the following:

  • All the participants should keep the following documents: (a) Flight Invoice; (b) Flight Booking; (c) Boarding Passes; (d) Hotel Invoice. All the original copies should be given to the sent University and copies to be sent to the coordinator. The copies of the aforementioned documents should be sent by email to Dr. Konstantinos Petridis (c.petridischania@gmail.com) and Mrs. Kaliopi Tsitou (ptsitou@chania.teicrete.gr) the latest one week after the completion of the school

During the Event

The evaluation of the delivered education, during the Intensive Courses and also of the lectures notes, is of a high priority for the CRETE project. More than 50 participant students and teachers follow the activities of the school. All the lecture transparencies and videos of all the lectures have been uploaded in google drive file. All the participants have access to these files. In general, we have received positive feedback from the participants. But we believe that we can do it better in the next school will take place in Porto, Portugal from the 20th to the 24th of April 2019
